Documentary

This visually bold and colourful documentary narrates how we are all creative and how creativity is in continual evolution and connected to all that is inspiring.

The project includes the original artwork and stories of my late mother and artist Jean Tori. The storytelling also encompasses Jean’s beliefs about the importance of creativity, and how everyone has a connection to their creativity and how they perceive art.

Having collaborated on catalogues, exhibitions and a collection of children’s books with Jean, this is also a story about being creative and especially how creativity is an ongoing inspiration and influence and always in transition and expansion.

Colorful paper art of bamboo stalks with artists' paint palette and paper cutouts of bamboo leaves in the foreground.
An outdoor art display in a tree, featuring colorful banners with animal and nature images, an ornate wooden chair, a small wooden table with framed artwork, and a carved wooden chair, all set in a garden with greenery and trees.
An elderly woman with short gray hair and glasses is sitting at a wooden table in her art studio. She is working on a colorful painting of a tree with blue, purple, and orange leaves, set against a vibrant background. There is an art palette, brushes, and paper on the table. Behind her, the wall is decorated with tiles and artwork. Some art supplies and a basket of tools are on the counter.
